The Bakerloo Line has finally arisen from the dark ages

Farewell, gross seats.

When you need to get on the London Tube, it's really not as bad as people say it is. Hammersmith and City Line? Spacious and clean. Victoria Line? Modern - shiny, even.

Until you get on the Bakerloo Line, that is.

Understandably, commuters have been dissing the Line - which looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70s, and probably hasn't - on Twitter for a while now.

So rejoice, Tube goers - TFL have heard your cries of anguish and finally given the carriages a revamp.

LOOK AT THE NEW SEATS. You can't even see any mystery dark patches.

You could probably eat a meal off that floor and it be cleaner than your shared house kitchen table, too.

And if that wasn't enough good news, The Bakerloo Line revealed on Twitter that this update is part of work that'll be carried out on all services this year.
