Over a year ago, everyone's favourite actress was targeted by anonymous hackers on 4Chan who released her private naked photos to the world.
Though many celebrities were attacked in the event colloquially known as "The Fappening" (srsly, can you not, tho), Lawrence was the one who spoke out at length by labelling the hack a "sex crime".
Now she has spoken with Vogue about how the hack affected her back then, and how it continues to affect her today.
"I don’t dwell on it unless someone brings it up," she said, before asking her interviewer, "Have you seen me naked?”
Lawrence said she found solace in her new dog, Pippi, immediately after the hack.
“I was outside crying, and Pippi jumped up on my lap and started licking up all my tears, and I couldn’t put her down for hours. And I mean, hours. I was like, ‘Well, obviously, you’re mine,'" she said.
Ultimately, Lawrence doesn't dwell on the issue.
"It was all pain and no gain,” she said.
We're pleased she's been able to overcome the ordeal, but are sad we still live in a world where her "sideboob" still makes Daily Mail headlines. Keep on fighting the good fight, Katniss. You're pretty damn inspiring to us all.
