Brie-hold the majesty of the humble cheese.

Behold! An entire art exhibition celebrating the beauty of cheese is set to go on display at a London gallery.

No, this isn't a late April Fool's joke.

'The Humble Cheese' collection is a series of paintings by artist Christian Furr, who wants us all to appreciate how cheese looks, as well as how it tastes.

Finally, modern art we can get on board with.

The exhibition will go on show at the Knight Webb gallery in Brixton, and will be available to view from Friday 29 April until Tuesday 31 May.

Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Furr said: “I hope that The Humble Cheese collection will show people the strange beauty of cheese, and how each one has its own individual skin, veins, aroma and character.”

We'll bring the picnic.
