Statistically speaking, there must be some people on this planet who do not like pizza. These people are probably also murderers who never move down on a crowded bus to make room for other passengers. Wronguns basically.
The point is: pizza is one of the greatest foodstuffs on the planet. And seeing as we all enjoy eating it a lot of the time, it might be an idea to start making it ourselves. Move aside, Papa John. WE DON'T NEED YOU ANYMORE.
1 Four step margherita
If you're a bit of a kitchen novice and you're looking to start with the basics, you could do worse than this recipe. Kick things off by knocking together a simple dough, then roll it out, throw on some passata, cheese and fresh basil and whack it in the oven. Easy, cheap, and so delicious.

2 Vegan tortilla pizza
This quick and easy pizza snack is perfect for a healthy lunch - especially if you're vegan or vegetarian. Take a tortilla and top it with spicy tomato sauce and some veg. Best of all, you can adapt this recipe to include cheese, and even some ham or deli meat if you're feeling fancy (and not in the vegan mood).

3 All day breakfast pizza
We all love pizza, and we all love a good full English, so who's to say we can't combine the two? No one, that's who.
Whip up a simple pizza dough (or buy a ready-made base if you're lazy), and top it with tomato sauce, sausage, bacon and cheese. Bake this in the oven for a short time, then pull it out and top with a couple of freshly cracked eggs and give it another blast. Breakfasty goodness.

5 Turkish pizza
The beauty of this Turkish pizza is that it seems super complicated and fancy, but in reality it's very easy to put together.
Buy some ready-made naans (or cook some yourself if you're a kitchen pro), and then top them with a homemade lamb sauce, along with some yoghurt, pomegranate seeds, cucumber, mint and onion. Perfect for a dinner party where you need to impress.

6 Pepperoni pizza pull-apart bread
Listen up, pizza traditionalists: it's time to loosen up and get creative. More specifically, it's time to throw caution to the wind and try out this super easy and crazy delicious pizza pull-apart bread.
Take a large oval loaf of bread, slice it into a grid (making sure not to cut through to the bottom) and fill the spaces with pepperoni, cheese, and seasoning. Brush butter over the whole thing (we'd add some garlic too, for good measure) and then bake in the oven for about 15 or 20 minutes. For the ultimate pizza experience, dip the tearaway chunks in some pre-prepared pizza sauce. Delish.

8 Smoked salmon & avocado pizza
While we absolutely love a good tomato sauce, it doesn't have to be a feature of every pizza. And if you need proof, try whipping up this amazing salmon and avocado concoction. Other ingredients include cream cheese, mozzarella, dill, garlic and - for the mature palate - some rocket. So yummy.
